We had a very nice experience with Lower Merion Pediatric Dentistry. The front desk was responsive and helpful with coordinating paperwork before our appointment...Dr. Horchos was engaging and thoughtful about the dental checkup process with both of my kids (ages 2 and 5). He explained each step of the checkup in a fun and engaging manner for them…Dr. Horchos was also thoughtful in responding to my questions and concerns. Patient and understanding, he gave me a full debrief on the dental outlook for my 5-year-old including what he anticipates the next few years to be like from a growth perspective given her x-rays. This was really informative and helpful for my husband and I to begin setting expectations and planning for my daughters dental care over the next few years. WOW. This was truly appreciated and IMO went above and beyond.

My kids love Doctor John! He is incredibly caring and goes the extra mile to make kids feel comfortable. Dr. John explains what he is doing in kid-friendly terms, talks gently to the kids while doing procedures and uses kind words of encouragement throughout. At the end of every visit there are prizes and bubbles. If there are issues to discuss he speaks to parents separately. As a former elementary school teacher and mom of two kids I highly recommend Dr. John!

My son had his first appointment at Lower Merion Pediatric Dentistry and everything about the experience was fantastic! The office is welcoming. Dr. Horchos and his staff are so attentive, professional and patient! This was my son’s first ever visit to the dentist and I was extremely nervous. He had 5 teeth pulled. Dr. Horchos took a lot of time to explain everything to us & told us what he would do. We received prizes on the way out as well as a bubble shower which was very fun. I definitely recommend this office and will for sure be taking both of my children there going forward! Thank you so much.
